If You Like to Talk to Tomatoes

Okay, I am just going to come right out and say it.....My name is Christine and I am 36 yrs old....and I like Veggie Tales. Is there a group out there for me? When I heard that the Family Review Network was looking for people to review the newest Veggie Tales Movie Abe & the Amazing Promise, I admit I was giddy in anticipation.

The reason is that all the Veggie Tales movies are truly funny and tell a great story that anyone can learn a good lesson from. The french peas are always my favorite characters (Think Monty Python's Holy Grail French Knights.....in children's cartoon form). Anyway the girls and I looked every day for the newest installment to reach my mailbox, and couldn't wait to watch it.

Well it was worth the wait and the lesson in patience which is something I continually struggle with. It is the biblical story of Abraham and Sarah and how God always keeps his promises....not in your time....but in his own. It is such an important lesson to learn, and so very difficult to learn it. Abraham was told he would father a great nation but he and Sarah were not only old...they still waited years for the promise to see fruition. In this one the nurse continually cracked me up with her trying to "fix" Bob the Tomato.....and regan really enjoyed The Silly Song with Larry called"Sneeze if You Need to".
After the remake of the biblical tale is a musical adventure called "Blunders in Boo-Boo-Ville" that teaches that sometimes doing things in hurry doesn't make it right.....but taking your time is often the best way. Told with humor and fun that only Veggie Tales can make happen, it is a valued addition to any video library no matter what age you are. This move will be available for purchase on February 7th. Thank you to the Family Review Network for this wonderful opportunity.
