I dressed up Regan (whose only requirements are that an outfit be shiny and have velvet) and packed up about five outfits for Rebecca to choose from (she's my diva child after all) and headed to the neighboring town with my camera and my gameplan. Well Rebecca hated all the choices that I brought....first flaw in the plan. Luckily "M" had a dress at their weekend farm that suited her just perfectly.
Then for some reason I had to teach the girls the sign for hitchiking which they both could not get???? Okay, I'm sorry how hard is it to stick your thumb out in the direction you want to go? I guess I should focus on the fact that my girls had no idea what it was to begin with, so I did not have to worry about them attempting it in the near future.
Next came the problem that I did not anticipate......The fact that it was virtually impoosible to get a good picture of the girls and the sign. The sign was too tall and well they are just 10 and 13 year old girls, and Regan was in her wheelchair instead of her walker so she could use her thumb (still incorrectly) too. Here is that attempt
