I know that my children do in fact age, and have developing personalities, but Regan has always been a little immature for her age. You can always count on her to hug and cuddle. She still loves family time, church, and her stuffed animals......but lately teen Regan has been more and more making appearances.
Things that have changed?
1. She is waaaaay emotional. Crying at the drop of a hat or getting angry over nothing.
2. She came home from camp with black fingernail polish on her nails, and told s how cool it was.
3. She wants to talk Twilight all the time, and categorizes everyone as "team Edward" or "team Jacob".
4. She told me how much she likes her "cute jeans" with the fashionable belt.
5. She reminds me about hair brushing, teeth brushing, and other personal things, that were always on my schedule to remind her.
6 She is anxious to find more of "her" kind of friends so I was really glad when she came home from Lions Camp with three email addresses, and talking plans to meet up with her friends later this summer.
I really am not oblivious....you can't live with Rebecca who is a teen ahead of her years and be anything but aware. Regan was just always easy to count on staying in her mold. I am not trying to keep her little.....but where did my Regan go?
