Look Good ...Feel Better, Hope for Cancer Patients

For years my gamily has been big supporters of helping to find a cure for Cancer, it is a disease that has hit my family personally and taken the life of a dear friend of mine. When Mom Central was looking for bloggers to promote the Look Good...Feel Better a public service program serving cancer patients, I didn't hesitate to want to spread the word.

This wonderful organization knows that going through Cancer is hard enough besides having to deal with all the changes that are happening to your skin and hair. It is hard to cope with all the side effects that treatment and the disease itself can entail. The program is designed for women, men and teens to be given the tools and lessons to help deal with their changing life, and help them to feel beautiful at the same time.

Right now Look Good…Feel Better® is reaching out to program graduates and cancer survivors to share their stories of hope, courage, and determination for the “Women of Hope is Beautiful” campaign. The “Women of Hope is Beautiful” are women with firsthand Look Good…Feel Better experience who can demonstrate the emotional and physical transformation that the program offers.

Five women will be selected as the “Women of Hope is Beautiful.” They will be featured on the Look Good…Feel Better website, and will win a trip to the DreamBall at the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel in New York on September 24, 2009 as well as receive a professional makeover.

If you know someone with Cancer that could really benefit from a boost of confidence and self esteem, then please send them the link to the Look Good...Feel Better website, so that they can locate a program near them.
