My Blogging Children

My girls have taken over my much ignored site Mom Tidings with the intention of starting their own blogging phenomena. Here are their goals:

1. To get more followers than mom
2. To get cool stuff to review
3. To Vlog and have their own webisodes like "Fred" and "ICarly".
4. To have a much better name than "Mom Tidings" but for now they are stuck with the URL, cuz I won't buy them one when we already have one not being used.
5. To show kids that cerebral palsy is not a disability but a talent to be shared.

To be honest I have mixed emotions about this. As much as I keep my girls very protected Small town....even smaller school...Limited Internet Access....and plenty of wholesome after school and evening activities. On the other hand I want them to have a voice that can be heard. I want to raise strong empowered girls who can be good role models while having fun. Especially Regan who would like more people to know her and how her disability affects her life. So I am entering this cautiously. Their first post is up, and they are looking for help with a new blog title.....please go help them out so they know I have spread the word for them today.

This weekend they are redesigning the background, and working on more posts (I think introductions about themselves). I have decided to have full editorial control, and all comments will be monitored before being posted. The email address to contact them will also be mine.
I will allow them to have PR because they have great opinions that I use all the time.....but I will be overseeing everything.

And finally if you have kids about their age could you send them by the site (maybe over the weekend) so they can get to know them. By the way if you decide to become a follower be forewarned...They can be Drama Queens especially Rebecca.
