Our Top Ten list from the Disney World Trip

Well we are happy to be back from our trip to Orlando for the national All-Star Cheer Competition. Rebecca's squad placed 3rd out of 10 teams in their category. I was impressed that in the top four .....three squads were from Texas, which shows the level of competition is very high where we are. To view their Saturday performance click HERE and type "Tumbletown" in the search box.

Ten Best
  • Shopping in Epcot (Japan is our favorite)
  • Standing in line at Soaring....they have really fun interactive games while you wait.
  • A Waffle House at every single exit from Louisiana to Florida on I-10
  • Extra Magic Hours at Magic Kingdom....lines are non-existant
  • Street Dancing with the Characters
  • "Awe-shum" candy from everywhere to satisfy my sweet tooth
  • Finding fresh Krispy Kreme at 4:00 am in Alabama
  • Having a perfect cheer routine and doing well
  • Tasty adult beverages to make standng in line bearable (try Fiesta margaritas from Mexico)
  • and our personal favorite *******The rollercoasters****
Ten Worst
  • Once again missing out on riding "It's a small world". This is my 5th visit and I have never made it to this classic ride.
  • Breaking down in Louisiana and needing a new battery (yuck)
  • Mac-n-Cheese *note to Disney....try Kraft
  • Turkish Delight that stuff is just nasty
  • Animals in hiding on the Safari ride at Animal Kingdom
  • The hype for Test Track....the only good thing was we were able to fast pass it
  • Rebecca's tiny bladder on a 17 hour road trip.....ugh! And she lost two teeth on the drive home
  • Trying to find a trading pin of "Boo" from Monster's Inc. Next place to look-EBay
  • High School Cheerleaders dancing trashy...making the after competition party not kid-friendly
  • Stitch-The Great Escape.......There is 30 minutes of my life I'll never get back.
We had a wonderful time, and I really hope our gym continues to include this on our competition schedule because it is so much fun! I am glad to be back though and ready to work.
