It's a bird....
It's a plane...
No. It's just Rebecca
So this week I am busy helping one of my best friends with their family-owned fireworks stand. I love being social with all the customers, and hanging out with friends all week. Rebecca loves it to, but Regan prefers to hang out with John Mark at home and take advantage of my empty computer.
Yesterday I got called into Tammy's house to use my baby-whispering skills to calm a crying toddler, and oddly enough Rebecca was left in the stand with a teenager who was brand new to selling fireworks. A car of women pulled up ready to have fun and spend their husbands' money, and Rebecca proceeded to tell them what different fireworks did, and then sold them some of the most expensive things.
When I made it out there, I was surprised to see my ten year old helping run a credit card through the machine and dictating to the high school girl to pack them up and throw in a few "free" punks. The women were impressed too and told me what an incredible job she did....and then gave her a $20 for a tip!
It just completely cracks me up that she is such a natural people person, and so smart to pretty much run the stand with no problems.
